Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information StayQuests collects when you use stayquests.com, why we collect it, how we keep it, and the choices you have. StayQuests is operated by Hangar 75, which is the controller of the information described here. This site is for the people who run hotels and resorts. It is not for hotel guests, and no guest accounts or quest data exist on this site.

1. Who we are
StayQuests is part of WithinReach, a venture of Hangar 75, based in Boulder, Colorado, United States. Hangar 75 is responsible for this website and for the personal information collected through it. Questions about this notice go to hello@hangar75.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the "Book a property walk-through" form, we collect what you enter: your name, hotel or property, role, email address, number of rooms and your message.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the time of the request and the referring page. We use these to keep the site secure and running. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies. The site sets only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, such as remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice. See section 9.
Information we do not collect. We do not collect hotel guest data on this site. Guest data from a hotel's StayQuests page is covered by that hotel's own notice. We do not knowingly collect special categories of data, payment details, government identifiers, or information from anyone under 18.
3. How we use your information
To reply to your enquiry, send you the material you asked for, arrange a property walk-through or a call, and keep a record of our conversations with you. We use server logs to protect the site, diagnose problems and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell personal information and we do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Our legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: steps you ask us to take before entering a contract (replying to an enquiry or application you sent); our legitimate interests in running the site securely, responding to business enquiries, balanced against your rights; and consent where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time. Where we must keep information to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation we rely on that obligation.
6. International transfers
Our providers store and process information in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred there. Where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard with our providers.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in conversation with you and for up to three years after our last contact. Where an agreement is signed, records are kept for the life of the agreement and as the law requires. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. We delete or anonymize sooner on request where we have no overriding reason to keep the information.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Residents of the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have these rights under the UK and EU GDPR. Residents of California have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the rights to know, delete and correct and not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Residents of Colorado and other US states with privacy laws have similar rights. To exercise any right, email hello@hangar75.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law allows, usually within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
10. Security
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, and database rules that allow form submissions to be written but not read by the public. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.
11. Hotel guests and minors
Guest data collected through a hotel's StayQuests page is handled under that hotel's own privacy notice and official rules, not this notice. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 on this site. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this notice
We will post changes here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you where we can.
